Australia

In 2001 we had a seven week holiday travelling around Australia and New Zealand. We flew into Cairns in Queensland, and stayed in Port Douglas for a while to recover from the long flight and to see some of the barrier reef. We then flew to Lizard Island for a few days where we visited cod hole. After that we travelled to New Zealand for a couple weeks, before flying back to Sydney. From Sydney we flew back to the UK via Bali to break up the journey and see if it's a place we'd want to go back to.
