This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Chocolate

    Chocolate and salted caramel puddings

    250g dark chocolate, chopped
    75g butter
    3 large eggs lightly beaten
    75g dark muscovado sugar
    50g golden caster sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    125g fround almonds
    6 tbsp caramel sauce
    2 tbsp double cream
    1.5 tsp sea salt
    creme fraiche for serving
    
    

    Heat the oven to 170 deg C. Melt the choclate and butter until smooth, over a simmering pan of water. Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla until doubled in size, then stir through the chocolate and fold in the almonds. Mix the caramel, cream and salt together and divide between six ramekins. Spoon over the chocolate mix and bake for 12-15mins until almost set. Serve with the creme fraiche.
