The Dordogne, July 1992

We visited the Dordogne in 1992 and stayed in the tower at Lalinde. From there wer visited Beynac castle, Rocamadour and a number of Chateaus. The most memorable is Chateau Montbazilliac where we had lunch and a tasting of their dessert wines, but we visited chateau de tiregand also.

The place with the marketplace and wooden arcades, is the medieval town of monipazier
