This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Blueberry Bombe

    400g tin of condensed milk
    300ml water
    25g ground almonds
    75ml double cream
    150g blueberries
    50g sugar or to taste
    
    

    Mix together the condensed milk, water, almonds and cream, then freeze for about four hours.

    Meanwhile, gently heat the blueberries with the sugar until the sugar melts and the blueberries start to break-up. Either sieve or puree the bluberries to make a sauce.

    After the four hours, remove the cream mix from the freezer and blend or beat. Stir through half the blueberry sauce, then transfer to individual moulds and freeze for a further 3 hours.

    Turn the moulds out and server with the remaining source over the top, and decorate with a few blueberries and some mint.
