This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Brown bread ice cream

    
    3oz Brown breadcrumbs
    3oz Demarara or muscovado sugar
    2 eggs separated
    1 tbsp honey
    3/4 pint whipping cream
    
    

    Caramelise the sugar in a pan with a little water, until dark brown and bubbly. Stir in breadcrumbs then spread out in nuggets on a plate to cool. Mix egg yolks and honey and beat well. Lightly whip the cream and fold into honey mixture, then add the breadcrumbs. Whisk egg whites and fold into cream mixture. Freeze until firm - no need to stir.
