This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Oatcakes

    100g medium oatmeal
    100g wholemeal flour
    1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
    Half tsp salt
    50g butter, melted
    
    

    Heat the oven to 180C. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl then stir in the melted butter. Add enough boiling water to make a firm dough (about 5-6 tbsps)

    Roll out the dough thinly and cut into rounds (thinner dough makes crispier biscuits). Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown. Leave on the baking tray for 5-10 mins to cool before transferring to a wire rack.
