This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Veggie Meals

    Spiced lentil puree

    
    250g red or green lentils, soaked for a few hours.
    1 onion, sliced
    1 bay leaf
    1 whole chilli
    2cm fresh ginger, crushed or grated
    1 tbsp tumeric
    1-2 tsp salt
    2 tsp ground cumin
    2 tsp ground corriander
    
    

    Drain the soaked lentils then boil in just enough water to cover, with the onion, bay leaf, chilli, ginger and turmeric for 20mins. Add the cumin and corriander then season. Cover and leave for 20 mins until the falvours have blended.
