This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Spiced chicken pitta

    
    Juice of 2 limes
    1 level tsp ground coriander
    1 level tsp ground cumin
    Half level tsp turmeric
    pinch of salt
    1 tbsp chopped mint
    4 chicken breats, cut into strips
    150g Greek style yogurt
    170g houmous
    2 tbsp olive oil
    4 white pitta
    salad leaves, tomato and yellow pepper to serve
    
    

    Blend the lime juice, coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt and mint. Coat the chicken in the mix and refridgerate for at least 30mins, stirring occasionally. Mix the yogurt and houmous, then chill until needed.

    Pan fry the chicken in oil for about 8-10 mins until cooked. Toast the pittas, open the up and spread with a generous spoonful of the yogurt mix. Fill with chicken, salad leaves, tomato and yellow pepper slices.
