Odds and Sods

    Oyster crackers

Nope - not oysters, but those little snacks you get at Lidl at xmas time. These really worked but massively fiddly
    150g plain flour
    1/2 tsp fine sea salt
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
1 or 2 tsp caraway seeds
    28g butter
    75ml cold water

Mix salt, flour, sugar and baking powder then add cubed butter and mix to fine crumb like pastry. Add water and stir until it forms a ball - if needed, knead for a couple secs. Roll out dough to approx 3mm, then cut out little circles (1-1.5cm diameter) and place on baking parchment - takes forever - I would be tempted to roll out on baking parchment, use the cutter, then remove the excess ! Bake in 170 deg C oven for approx 12-15 mins.
