Moon Harbour Distillery Bordeaux

Right next to the submarine base is the Moon Harbour Distillery. They store the whisky in one of the old fuel tanks built to supply the submarines base. As you can see from the pictures, the walls are collossal to prevent it being bombed, which means it's cool inside. Some of the whisky tastes peated, but as they have no peat in france and want to use everything local, they use seaweed to provide the smokiness. They also get to use the best premier cru wine barrels made with french oak.
