This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Long cooking

    Stefado

    4 Lamb knuckle joints
    1 pack shallots
    half pint red wine
    6 large plum tomatoes, skinned
    1 tbsp tomato puree
    6 large fat garlic cloves
    5 sprigs fresh oregano
    2 tsp cinnamon
    seasoning
    4 tbsp water
    2oz butter
    

    Mix the liquids, puree and spices together and pour over the lamb. Scatter garlic, herbs, shallots and butter over and cover with foil. Bake at 200deg for first 30 minutes, then 130deg to 140deg for at least three and a half hours
