Steve's website

This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    300g flour
    Pinch salt
    1 tsp baking powder
    120g margerine
    30g Caraway seeds
    180g sugar
    1-2 eggs, beaten
    4 tbsp water
    
    

    Sieve the flour, salt and baking powder, then rub in the margerine. Add the seeds and sugar, then the beaten eggs. Mix with sufficient water to give a soft dropping consistency. Pour into a greased baking tin and bake at 200 deg C for 1 hour. Reduce to 180 deg C for one and a half to two hours, until golden brown.
