This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Flap Jack

    350g soft butter
    250g Soft brown sugar
    5-6 tbsp golden syrup
    500g-600g oats 
    1 packet cranberries
    

    Melt and mix the butter and golden syrup in a pan, stir in the oats until covered and then press evenly into a well buttered tray. Cook in a 160 deg oven until golden brown, which is usually about 25 mins.

    I like to add sultanas to the flapjack, but the kids oddly enough don't like this. What is also nice is to swap half the oats for granola as you get lots of added texture and flavours.
