This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Cauliflower

    Deep fried cauiflower masala

    
    60g plain flour
    Half tsp salt
    1 tbsp garam masala
    1.5 tbsp groundnut oil
    85ml water
    1 red cauliflower cut into florets
    1 egg white
    oil for deep frying
    
    

    To make the batter, sift the flour with salt and garam masala. Stir in the oil and gradually add water until thick and creamy. Stand for 2 hours and thin out with 1-2 tbsp water. Cook cauliflower until al-dente then drain and dry. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the bater. Dip the florets and deep fry until golden - drain on kitchen paper.
