This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Grapefruit and campari, vodka or gin granita

600ml ruby red grapefruit juice
200ml sugar syrup, chilled
Campari (or vodka or gin), to taste
10 segments pink grapefruit, diced

    Mix the juice and sugar syrup, then add the spirit to taste. Pour into a shallow tray and freeze for a few hours. Run a fork through the frozen mixture to rough it up into ice shavings. Repeat the process of firming up and breaking up. Spoon the grapefruit into glasses, top with the granita and pour over more spirit if desired.
