This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Potatoes

    Hassleback potatoes with lemon and pepper

    Use medium potatoes
    zest from two lemons
    2-3 tsp ground black pepper
    Salt
    150g butter
    120ml olive oil
    
    Cut through the potatoes on a spoon, so that you don't cut all the way through, season with the salt. Melt the oil and butter, add the potatoes and then sprinkle over the pepper and zest, then toss well. Roast at 180 deg until golden, basting occasionally. Probably takes about an hour or so depending on the size of the spuds.
