This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Breads

    Pitta Bread

    250ml water
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 teaspoon salt
    Half teaspoon ground cumin
    375g strong white bread flour
    1 teaspoon caster sugar
    1 teaspoon fast-action dried yeast

Make the dough (add all the ingredients and kneed until smooth)

Chop into 8 pieces and roll out to 6" ovals - this is actually the hard part !

Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Pre-heat the oven to 230C. Put a floured baking sheet in the oven and leave to heat up for 5 mins (this is the important bit).

Transfer the pitta breads to the baking sheet and cook for 5-6 minutes until just beginning to colour
