This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

    Chocolate Honeycomb

  2. Easy for the fingers this one and dead easy to do

    
    100g caster sugar
    2 tbsp golden syrup
    1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
    Dark chocolate or good quality milk 
    
    

    Heat the sugar and golden syrup in a big pan until it's the right golden caramel colour - it will probably have bubbled for a good 5-8 minutes. Make sure the bicarb has no liumps then throw into the caramel and stir in quickly. The mix will foam quickly - pour it out into a cold, lined tray. The sugar will be hot, so don't touch it !

    Once cooled it can be broken up and dunked into melted chocolate,
