This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Fish

    Thai fish balls

    
    2 Kafir lime leaves, finely shredded (lose the central bit)
    1 small onion
    3 thick slices ginger
    1 tbsp coriander, chopped
    1 large clove garlic
    1 x 2cm piece of lemongrass
    1 green chilli, seeded
    350g white fish
    1 egg
    1.5 tbsp fish sauce
    8 green beans very thinly sliced
    Cold water
    Oil for shallow frying
    
    

    Blitz the onion, ginger, coriander, garlic, lemon grass and chilli into a paste. Add the fish and blitz again. Add 3-5 tbsp of cold water, the egg and the fish sauce, then blitz until smooth. Mix in the beans and the lime leaves, then form into balls. Shallow fry until golden and cooked through, then drain on kitchen paper.
