This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Canape

    Chlcken sticks with sweet ginger dipping sauce

    Can thread these onto lemon grass, but wooden skewers are fine.

    
    4 large chicken breasts, boneless and skin removed
    
    Marinade
    2 tbsp dark soy sauce
    1 clove ginger, crushed
    1 red chilli, diced
    1 tsp dark muscovado sugar
    Juice of a lime
    2 tbsp groundnut oil
    
    Dipping sauce
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    2 pieces stem ginger in syrup, chopped
    1 tbsp stem ginger syrup
    1 tsp sesame oil
    Finely grated lime zest
    
    

    Cut the chicken into cubes about 2.5cm, and mix all the ingredients for the dipping sauce.

    Mix the marinade ingredients together, and then marinate the chicken for 30 mins. Remove from the marinade and thread two pieces on to a skewer. Grill until just cooked, 2-3 mins, then serve with the dipping sauce.
