  11. Bit of a challenge this one. The cakes and ship were relatively easy to build, provided you have an endless supply of chocolate fingers, and the people easy enough. The dragons were a little bit tougher. The wings are made from rice paper, which I discovered, can't be coloured using anything the remotest bit wet. I used colouring gel painted direct onto the rice paper. I also discovered chocolate doesn't soften it, so couloured chocolate is the way to go when strengthening them and for glueing them onto the body. The size and shape of the dragons also means strength is needed in the necks. I wrapped icing around matchmakers to get a core of chocolate through them. made the bodies out of chocolate fingers, again covered with icing, to make them less dense and allow me to stick the neck and wings on well - it seemed to work.

    To top it all, the party was on comi relief day - so our ship got it's red nose...
