This is our simple website - running on a beaglebone black, it hosts our favourite recipes and cakes, and things that interest us. There's an area for the kids for when they start to learn computing at school, and a personal blog for us all

Soup

    Spiced pea soup

    
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 onion, finely sliced
    2 cloves garlic, finely diced
    2 tsp curry powder
    750ml chicken stock
    500g frozen peas or petit pois
    Salt and pepper
    creme fraiche for serving
    
    

    Gently fry the onion and garlic for 10mins or until golden and soft in the olice oil. Stir in the carry powder and fry for a further 3 mins. Pour in the chicken stock and bring to the boil, then stir in the frozen petit pois. Rsturn to the boil, cover and simmer gently for 30 mins or until the peas are melting soft.

    Puree thc soup in a food processor or liquidiser. It will retain a slightly coarse texture. Retum to a clean saucepan, season to taste and stir in the creme fraiche. Gently reheat and serve piping hot.
